The sweetest people ever ! Everything on the menu is delicious. Definitely recommend going for a lunch or coffee break !
Was hanging out with my friend. We were hungry and he said he knew a place. We went to Jump Start. What a great bodega! Peter is great and makes an awesome sandwich. I got the #2 sandwich (roast beef, horseradish, cheese, lettuce, cheddar cheese). It was toasted and I got it on sliced sourdough. It was delicious. The cheese was melted and the horseradish gave the needed spice. There are a few tables inside. It's a very clean market space. Peter is very friendly and funny. My friend is a regular, and Peter was busting his chops, kinda teasing him. Peter said a zinger that made a UPS driver who was eating his sandwich laugh. Great vibe. Great food. Will definitely be back!
Jump Start is the best deli and store in the Mish! Peter and his brother make great sandwiches and the neighborhood vibes are immaculate, so friendly and fun. It's my Dad's favorite place to come every time he visits. Recommend 10/10!!
Peter does an awesome with his sandwiches and food! Had a BLT with and it was spot on. Peter also does a great job supporting the kids at the school across the street. He makes sure folks aren't going to school hungry irregardless of their financial situation. When I come here I feel good giving him my money because what he does for the community!
I was looking for a nice sandwich. After a quick search, Jump Start came with good reviews and I gave it a shot. Delicious, good quality, fairly priced, warm food. The owner was very kind and speedy, and made suggestions for what to try. I will def come back!
I love this spot. Peter is a sandwich wizard with an engaging personality. Sandwiches (breakfast and non-breakfast) are wonderful, and not overpriced. On a cool, foggy day, the pastrami Reuben is nothing short of heaven! Very dog friendly, indoor and outdoor seating, gourmet snacks galore, impressive bottled wine selection, plus coffee, soda, beer and all the necessary sundries. Just a completely charming, neighborhood fixture!

The best deli sandwich in the neighborhood! Had the pleasure of meeting Peter today and he put together a delicious Black Forest ham sandwich on Dutch crunch with the works! Thrilled to satisfy my craving here on the regular!
Came here awhile ago with my sister and dog and sat outside to eat. The sandwiches were excellent! What really makes this place amazing is the owner. I had ordered a coffee and my dog saw another dog, lunged and spilled my coffee which was on the table. I was a bit upset with my dog. We asked for some napkins. The owner instead made me a new coffee and asked if he could give me dog a treat. He told my dog it was not his fault for getting excited to see another dog, and gave him some fresh BACON. So classy. We will be back!
Service was prompt and friendly. Prices of our bagel sandwiches were decent. My boyfriend doesn't typically give a 5 star rating for breakfast bagel sandwiches unless they're really good, and he gave Jump Start's bagel sandwich 5 stars!!
